roman_pavluchenko Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 1 month since my ex dumped me for pretty poor reasons, for being clingy to be exact, despite the fact that i wasn't really clingy at all, i just wanted to spend time with her more than once a week and all our friends say i didn't come off as clingy either. I really thought it was because of two events that happened the week before break-up, but i sincerly apologized with flowers and calls, her close friend's boyfriend sent her a 6 page text which made her cry and cry, while me raising my voice a little over the phone and eventually hanging up apparently pissed my ex off the whole night and she dumps me 3 days later. I thought the two issues were smaller parts of a bigger picture - the fact that i over-reacted in a way to situations and that i had to make sure she was okay when i apologized. Because of this i wrote her out a nice letter pointing out my flaws and mentioning that i've changed and that she can contact me if she wants to work it out. I didn't end up sending it as i hoped to today, but some information i recieved has lead me to not sending it at all. I deleted her off facebook 2 weeks ago, she said she really wanted to be close friends still, but ignored me when i talked to her on chat so i figured i would resist the temptation by de-friending her. I decided to go NC, been 2 weeks so far, but i added her back on facebook just so she knew i didn't hate her, i was just trying to move on (actually i wanted her to miss me and contact me) Today her best friend told me she got the friend request and was furious. She had no idea that i deleted her and she really thought we were still friends (although we hadn't talked for 3 weeks) and she was really pissed off at how immature i was. I had her deleted for 2 weeks, she didn't even notice. It's pretty clear to me that she must have moved on a long time ago, even during our relationship if after a week of breaking up she didn't think of me at all and clearly doesn't miss the good times we had.
Puddin Jones Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 sir, it sounds like you and me got somethin in common.. wanting to spend more time with the one we love. my girlfriend just broke up with me 3 hours ago unfortunately for a similar thing. all my buddies told me im strong enough to pull up on the dive bomb. give her a little time to blow off the steam and send her a message on facebook in a week or so. dont make it huge, dont apologize. just say whats up. try to make a conversation. small talk it. but make sure it interests her
