MissMoni Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 So I managed not to talk to my ex for a month (we've been broken up for five) and this was during the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). He never even bothered to text me or call unless I texted him to say happy holidays. Anyway, I decided to delete him from Facebook so I could move on (especially because he came to my town to visit our friends for a weekend and then never told me he came). I was doing great until I realized he was actually UPSET I deleted him from facebook. What gives? He doesn't want to be with me, so why does he even care?

smudge21 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Totally. He's happy to feel in control but now you've made the decision and deleted him so he's not used to that. He'll probably start getting all sweet with you next, just get you to that point where you're clearly interested and then vanish again. Don't give him the chance. Go NC and stay there best you can. Some people only realise what they've got when it's gone...

I thought a bit about bruising his ego but honestly I just don't see why he cares if he has been ignoring me for the past 4 months. He even started reading my blog...o_0 I plan on staying NC, although my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and I'm afraid he will use that as a response to try to contact me..even though yes, secretly, I would like to know he at least cared enough to wish me a happy birthday. What should I do if he contacts me on that day? He definitely hasn't been sweet on me yet, just continuing to ignore me..he's basically putting the ball in my court, which is annoying because he's basically insinuated the reason we don't speak anymore is because I'M ignoring HIM. Like, hello! You dumped me! Why would I WANT to talk to you??
