Woggle Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I just stumbled across and wonder what people think of it. http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/relationships/article6975683.ece
Linda9999 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 How incredibly selfish that woman is. And the guy - sad. I have a son about that age and I can't imagine him living his life that way. All just for sex. Wow.
PollyIvy Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I hope her daughters don't know and her kind (and loaded) husband has a girlfriend.
freestyle Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Looks like she's displaying the exact same rationalizing sense of entitlement that some WH's have.. "I work hard, so I deserve this..........." Yep--it's not gender-specific. Selfish jerks come with both kinds of plumbing.........
Author Woggle Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 I love how she acts like her affair is okay because she is dignified and dainty. I guess cheating is okay as long as you are a soft spoken and refined person.
ladydesigner Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Honestly I hope this article is fiction as I agree, and I'm a former WS, that this article reeks of self-serving, entitled behavior. Never heard of the word "Mister" as opposed to OM. That's certainly a new one to me.
Steadfast Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Heartwarming, and more than a little sensationalized. Good of them to provide tips for single prowlers too. Ahh, the bliss of marriage! "Honey, I'm home! ....honey?"
seren Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 It read like a work of fiction, conjured up by someone who imagines that life is actually like this for some people. I read a lonely, self serving woman who didn't have enough to do and felt it her right to have an A. I also took it to be a work of compete fiction, I imagine it written by a saddo with no life who imagines that somewhere out there is a life she could have lived, or should be living. If it is for real, well the woman is certainly not someone I would have as a friend, she sounds selfish would annoy the crap out of me, has no purpose other than to live a stereotypical life of a faded, failed woman. That is not based on her having an A, just on the wafty, soft focus, middle class sort of lifestyle. I have a 4x4 with heated seats but tis full of mud, dog hairs and blankets. Cashmere is OK, but no one would have an A wearing cashmere, it sheds. Pure fiction, crap fiction at that. I am thinking I must write my own version ....
Toodamnpragmatic Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Lizzie60 to chime in.... She was always good for many a spirited debate and laugh......
sally4sara Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Oh Woggle! I think you should divorce this woman! She clearly doesn't appreciate the benefits you provide that she enjoys.
StoneCold Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Well if it makes her a better person at home then.... go on....just becareful
wheelwright Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I just stumbled across and wonder what people think of it. http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/relationships/article6975683.ece Absolutely shocking. I take my hat off to the people quoted in the article. They live like there is no importance to it. Not for me.
