Exactly.... and I bet as ugly as I am I'd have that woman over you, because I wasn't such a cheap D-bag.

So... buying dinner gets you laid?

I think it's more likely the rohypnol is what gets you some action.

I had thought I get mostly responses from women, not start a fight amongst guys...

WELCOME TO LOVESHACK! :lmao: :lmao:

I think we have established over the course of about 30 threads that paying for dates has ZERO to do with a guy being generous.

Actually... it's more likely to show that he is a date rapist than a generous guy.

True. I find that as long as you are not talking about yourself... I agree with you a lot.

Do you honestly think after the ridiculous things you post that I actually care what you think? I have zero respect.

Laid?..I didn't say that.

Dating = sex.

The next date you go on if a girl sits down with you and says the following:

I am really looking forward our date. It is really great to get out and appreciate a nice dinner (you are paying for).

But let me be upfront. I will never, ever sleep with you. Ever.

Would you cancel your plans at McDonalds?

I wouldn't expect sex the very first date come on! I'd be so nervous that I couldn't get anything but a babie's mushroom helmet out of my cock let alone stick it into her.

Now after like five dates and no sex....way different story man!

That doesn't fly my anal dwelling troll friend.

She said EVER! So it doesn't matter how many dates.

Would you still go out with a girl that said that to you?

We aren't men....I'm a Troll and they are two douche bags from sosuave.

I had a feeling. It felt like a smarter & funnier version of NewWaveMary. Who's we?

And now I can put two names with the sosuave thing. Whatever that is. gracias. Wish I knew who you were. Curiosity is going to kill me.

Ouch!

I had wanted to say the same thing about many women on this board but I couldn't articulate it as well as you. Lol

You seem like an awesome Aussie woman! I can't believe you don't have a line of guys wrapping around the block to marry you. :bunny:

I was spending about $15 a day on lunch. On the weeks she cooks its down to $2-4 depending on meal. Plus it's healthier and tastier!

I just think that there is this pervasive hard shell mentality from a lot of the women in my dating pool. I'm really glad to not have to deal with it anymore. I think it is part and parcel of that superwoman expectation they tend to put on themselves... like Annette Bennings character in American Beauty.

Thankyou UF, if I was into 50+ guys, I am sure I would have a line of guys, but I am not, and I also don't want to do marriage again. There are some men and women who are destined to pay ($) when LTR's and marriages end, and I seem to fall into that catergory. Personally I am through paying, I don't need to profit from a relationship, but I don't want to lose my kids inheritance, all because I wanted to get laid.

Even with my good money skills, with the price of food going up and my kids becoming hungry teenagers, gone are the days when dinner cost $2-4.

Yes! That is definitely the part of feminism *cringe* that I really like.

I have heard people say however that it's created a double edged sword in that women that want to be housewives are often looked down on and ridiculed by career women. I've definitely seen some animosity between those two groups.

I don't know what the future brings... but I do believe that boys face more issues now than ever before. The college entrance rates have plummeted to astoundingly low levels. It's down to 43% now.

With numbers like that social norms are going to HAVE to change. Our educated workforce is going to look extremely female in the future. You can't lock boys out of college and still expect them to do all the paying in relationships.

I think people need to stop blaming women for feminism, it was a trick pulled over the eyes of both men and women. It's screwed up the whole world and everyone is suffering for it. Women are looked down on for being housewives in society in general. Your dreaming if you think most women get a choice. Now both sexes are pushed into the workforce to survive, and only few people can earn enough by themselves to buy a home. Often 2 people working good jobs, can struggle to buy 1 home. Everyone is stressed and overworked, and the result of that is many things, including breakups, abuse and sexual dysfunction. It is no individuals faults, but humanity as a whole has screwed up society, and decisions makers don't even know how to fix it (assuming they even want to).

I met a 15yr old girl yesterday, who had dropped out of school, tried working full time at mcdonalds, tried studying at tafe, tried going back to school, and is now doing an 18mth hairdressing course that costs $27K, so she can eventually earn minimum wage cutting hair. It should be illegal. $27K debt at 15. Just example how society is screwed, and you guys are arguing over who pays for dinner.

Posted

Paying 27k for a hairdressing course is as dumb as going to a private school for psychology major.

Society isn't screwed. A lot of people are just stupid or lack good judgment.

Posted

A man who NEVER pays for anything is vain and narcissistic. He's only after one thing, and that doesn't always mean sex but in that he's only after Number 1, which is himself.

Posted

Splitting the bill 50/50 is cool, the woman picking up the tab sometimes is cool too. The man NEVER paying is someone looking for a sugar momma.

Posted

Truthfully I prefer to be the one who always pays, that way I don't need to feel obligated. I can also ensure that the relationship stays as I want it, casual, no strings attached, no emotional investment.

At least I treat people with dignity in real life. So that respect thing goes both ways.

I definitely understand where you are coming from on that. I lost big in my last marriage. It took me two full years of having nothing to recover. I don't want to do that again.

I have not given up completely though. I think I will get married again. You should consider it with a prenup or something.

BTW... I know it's not just 50+ age guys... I remember some threads where you were tackling some young bucks.

Our entire economy is based on supply and demand. The more workers you have in a particular field... the less it pays. Women entered the workforce slowly over a great number of years, so it didn't rapidly depress wages... but I believe it has kept our wage growth numbers lower. Having a career should be a personal choice... and you are correct that really it isn't a choice... everyone has to work. I don't really blame women or feminists for that. It's kind of a human greed thing.

Here in the U.S. the demand for education FAR outstrips our colleges ability to provide it... so these ultra expensive fake schools have stepped up to rob people. It's nearly impossible to get out from under student loans here too.

I was sort of hoping Obama would help address some of these issues and rebalance some of these systems. However... I'm starting to see that's impossible without the threat of a third party. :(

I wasn't saying I don't ever get young guys, but I haven't scored a relationship from them and you did say a line of guys wanting to marry me. Sure I could easily have a line of guys of whatever age hoping for an ONS with me, but as you will also remember, I don't want that.

BTW I am going for drinks with a 23yr old in an hour. What's the catch? He is leaving the country indefinately on the 1st of April. I agreed to it, almost 2wks ago, before all the tension of the past w/e.

You explain it all so well. (australia) I did an analysis of wages of different careers, with a view to how much money you would have to save for a good retirement, versus not saving and just getting the government pension at the end. Unless you are an entrepreneur and making really good money, it is hardly worth the stress to save through all those years of work. And you are better off looking for something you can live with, then doing something you hate, even for a higher income.
