i'mfaraway Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I was meeting a guy I've seen a few times. I noticed that at some point when he was at another corner of a gallery, he spotted me and had a subtle body jolt. It wasn't like he jumped but it was a little like he was "surprised" to see me or a ghost just left his body. I couldn't make out whether it was suddenly that he decided I had three eyes and two noses or that he was mesmerized or something else. Anyone has an idea of what it might be?
SunshineD Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 My first thought was, a shy guy, or a guy who thought maybe you had stood him up and is searching for you would have this kinda jolt when he finally sees you. Or maybe he saw another guy about to approach you? just guesses.

I'm going to have to agree with this. When I see my girl I get a butterfly feeling and get a little jolt and I probably stand up straighter. I'll have to observe myself next time. It is just a feeling of being near that person special or person you are interested in.
dispatch3d Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 He got nervous or may have just been surprised to see you there. Hard to denote positive or negative feelings there (doesn't seem like the reaction lends itself to interpretation directly without knowing the surrounding circumstances).
