mixedEmoTion Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 sort of a long story but its all relevant so you can understand...thank you for reading I am 19 and have been going out with my ex for nearly 2 years a relationship in high school is easy cause you see each other everyday and living only 10min away by car made it really easy to see each other out of school. We only ever had 1 BIG fight but that was at the start of our relationship we loved to spend time with each other and were the normal high school sweethearts. When college rolled around we were more obsessed then ever with each other but going to different schools (2hours apart) made it really had to keep her happy. I visited ever 2 weeks for the weekend, we said gododnight every night and txt'd non stop but one day she told me she was really stressed from all her work and wanted a break for 2 weeks before Christmas vacation i said ok because i knew we could recover from a break cause we had taken one before. over christmas vacation we hungout alot and did everythign together but right before she went back to college she said she wanted to break up because she couldnt handle being 2 hours away from me and not being able to get a hug when she needed one, she cried for a hour as i held her and tried to calm her down (i dont know why i was so calm i guess i was in shock). She said we could remain Best friends but when she left we talk for maybe a week and then it ended. she called to tell me she liked another guy, she said i should know because it was only fair(dont think this is disrespect full we agreed on this) i broke down on the phone because it hurt to hear she found someone else. when her birthday rolled around i was the only one to give her a present cause she called and said thank you. The thing im most confused about tho is the fact she sent me a txt 2 nights ago saying "I just wanted to say goodnight for old times sake, Goodnight!" and she called me last night asking what her favorite song was...we have sorta been talking since, does this mean anything more than friends? sorry if this is confusing because it sure is to me...all responses will be greatly appreciated....thank you
