I went on a first date the other night with a girl I had met about a month ago in my hometown in Long Island. Overall, I would classify the date as a success in my eyes, and she mentioned that she had a great night so I assume it wasn't a failure according to her. Anyway, I went on this first date while I was home from school for a weekend, and now I am 200+ miles away from her so I can't make plans for a second date for at least a month =\ Regardless, she really impressed me that night, and I want to continue building upon any potential we may have I'm just a little unsure as to how to go about that. I'm thinking I can call/text her throughout the period that I am at school, but at the same time I don't want to end up having nothing to talk about on a potential second date. So I guess my question is how do I go about maintaining and/or building any potential I have with this girl so that I can secure a second date with her once I return?

Only thing you can do is keep up communication.

But, school is 100 times more important than this chick. Getting a four year degree won't get you anything, other than a piece of paper. But with that piece of paper, you'll get paid more money, because your employers will have less excuse to lowball you. With more money, it makes dating easier.

you will always lose money by chasing women, but you will never lose women by chasing money.
