So we agreed just to keep it simple for our first date and just meetup for coffee in the afternoon and see how it goes. So I walk into the place we were meeting a couple of minutes early, I notice a girl fitting her photo's looking around but I couldn't tell because I couldn't see her face. So I start walking towards her and she turns around and see's me raise's a eyebrow and walks towards me and say's my name coyly. I smiled and said "Yes, you must be xxxx pleasure to meet you" she smiles and say's "same to you" I offer my hand to her she takes it and leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek so i mirror her. I must say her photo's on her profile didn't do her justice she was a lot more attractive in person and I thought she was quite attractive from her photo's already. Anyway we talked for a minute then sat down and ordered some drinks. We talked for about 2 hours about various things study,travel,family,politics,work etc. Lot's of laughs, smiles and some light flirting. She asked me how long I had been doing online dating. I told her I only been doing it for the "last month and half" to which she replied "only that long? are you seeing anyone else?" I said I wasn't and that she was the first person I had met in person. She smiled and said she had been on and off the site for the last year and had only met 2 other guys in person and that most of the guys just sent her sleazy messages. I asked her why she started using the site and she said that she studied off-campus and didn't like the club/bar scene so she doesn't really get the chance to meet many new people outside her social circle/work. Anyway ended the date a little after 2 hours felt it would be good to end on a high note and we both had some other things we had to do. Walked out together I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek she said "we should meet up again soon" I said "definitely" said goodbye and went our separate ways. Overall I was quite happy with how it went. I think I will call her tomorrow afternoon and try and set up a date for later in the week. Thoughts/Comments?
