Because the friend will be feeling you out and contacting you and you think the friend likes you. Also it's hard to know why she randomly says things like Sarah says hi or do you know Julie. Maybe women can explain this.

It's not registering cuz you didnt explain that i get it now and my answer is... women are very subtle with their flirting. I've studied it for years and I still get surprised.

I've studied it for years and I still get surprised. I mean if we know that the gf is sent in to set it up that's one thing. But a lot of times it seems that the gf is hitting on you. So everyone loses out. Maybe the gf needs to be super clear.

Maybe women can explain this. Eh... I've had that happen. My take is that she was too embarrassed to come over and even strike up a conversation. It's middleschool type behavior.
