Disillusioned Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 I think that article was written by a man posing as a woman.
LucreziaBorgia Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 What about the women who are genuinely happy being single? It doesn't seem to occur to the author that there are women out there for whom being married (again, in my case) doesn't hold any real appeal.

I second that, but I did enjoy the part about the oxytocin. Really got me thinking, but when I looked into it further I am perhaps suffering the effects of DHEA from excessive exercise and calorie reduction rather than an oxytocin reaction. It was good food for though and got me looking for an explanation as to why I am so horny atm.
spackle Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Because they're fat or ugly. there are plenty of ugly and fat women on dates, married, pushing prams. Look around.
Leeway Harris Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 What about the women who are genuinely happy being single? It doesn't seem to occur to the author that there are women out there for whom being married (again, in my case) doesn't hold any real appeal. I don't think the article was addressed to those women. It was aimed at women who are single and unhappy about it.

irc333 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Yeah, I suppose so. I know plenty of women like that. Yep, and even the happy ones, eventually more will feel unhappy about being single at some point later in their years. You'd be suprised how many elderly women are on the prowl. lol Those singles mixers numbers sky rocket women get older.
