I guess it depends on what the woman is looking for. Me, I'm not looking for a relationship, so if I want to sleep with a guy, I don't put any stock into how much I "like" him because I don't "like" him in that way and don't want to. If I were looking for a relationship I guess I would play the game more, make him chase me, blah blah blah. So yeah, if I "liked" a guy I would wait longer. I don't know, I'm not too great at playing games or following "rules" (other than, "wrap it up", of course. Lest anyone think I'm all herpes-infected or something... I'm not.)

I read that 1/5 men and 1/4 women have HSV2 or genital herpes and more like 90% of all people have HSV1 or the kind that gives cold sores. That everyone over 65 has one or the other too. So basically if you get in the pool expect to get wet at some point.

What's behind this question? Are you seeing someone who is multi-dating, and she won't sleep with you, so you would like to think that this means you're her favorite?

Thanks... I was ready to get raked over the coals. I just want to be honest, and I guess my views differ with a lot of people's on this forum (which is fine with me. ) This is the first period of time in my life where I've truly been single (and I'm 30!!) so I'm just trying to have fun and figure out what I like and don't like. I feel like there's a lot of pressure in society to get into a relationship and people automatically think in those terms. I used to, too, but it didn't get me far, so now I'm thinking "no relationship... just stay casual" and for now it's working out for me. Eventually I do want a relationship but certainly not for awhile.

My mom wasn't the best on giving dating advise and never offered any sex advise but she started drilling it into me when I was quite young to never kiss anyone with a sore around their mouth even if it looked like a pimple. I was so freaked out by how stern she was on the matter I wouldn't date a guy with acne!
