Mixed28 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How long have you been single? Are you fine with it? How long is too long for you?
Cracker Jack Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Excluding the time when I was simply used as a rebound, my dry-spell has been forever. Not okay with it, but I've learned to deal with it.
somedude81 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Lets see. I start liking girls at 13, I'm 29 now, so that's, 16 years of being single. Not really fine with it but there's not much I can do about that.

SmileFace Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 jerks are highly prized to girls. want proof? when a relationship goes bad, girls give crap tips and say its cause she gave too much and don't give next time and be a challenge and play games. this attracts jerks. duh. Wrong thread...dude!
Author Mixed28 Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 :lmao::lmao: Don't understand
PJKino Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 its why somedude and pjkino cant get girls. most girls want game playing jerks who like challenge. actually its because im not good looking not because im nice
somedude81 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I don't really think it's anything to laugh about. Mixed28, I'm just well known here for posting about how I can't get girls and get rejected whenever I try. Apparently there is some kind of joke. I've already been rejected once this week and am deciding if it's worth going after the other two girls I have my eyes on.
SmileFace Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 No, Somedude it wasn't a joke on your expense. Sorry if you took offense to my laughter. It is just that she asked you have been trying-putting yourself out there, and most of us know you been .

I wasn't laughing at you Somedude, but about the fact that it was pretty hard to have missed your many posts on that very subject.

worlybear Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How long have you been single? Are you fine with it? How long is too long for you? I'm in such a dry spell I think I'm shipwrecked!
jane100 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How long have you been single? Are you fine with it? How long is too long for you? I understand your question Mixed28, though I don't know that I can shed any light on it, as we all vary so much. I was single for a very long time - but due to very restrictive circumstances (I know I sound like I was in prison, but I wasn't, honest ) rather than opportunity so I kind of accepted it, I had no choice. Then things changed a little and I decided to "go for it" a bit. Even within the few months that I have put myself "out there" re. internet dating I have had periods of dryness, scattered with a sudden flurry of interest. In answer to your question - how long is too long - in my case when I decided I really wanted a romantic relationship of some kind and tried to do something about it, and my circumstances eased up a little. There were a few false starts of course for someone so out of practice and how my efforts will pan out, of course, I do not know.
somethingsimple Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Well I've been single since December 2009. Before that, I was in a 5-year relationship, so I wasn't really in the market till around 7 months ago? So, I guess I've been single for the past 7 months. Since then, I've been on 3 first dates which didn't really end anywhere, but a friendship. And two different girls who were just a one time physical thing, if that counts for anything. I'm use to being in a relationship or pursing a girl, so right now I really feel like I'm in a dry spell. If it matters, I'm 23.
shocked_confused Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How long have you been single? Are you fine with it? How long is too long for you? I've been single for almost 4 months ago. I'm semi-ok with it. However, i do miss having a boyfriend and doing all the couple stuff. And i miss having sex. I've never had sex with a guy I wasn't in a relationship with, so I'm going through this awful dry spell right now. GAH!!
USMCHokie Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Single for the past year and a half or so...dated a few girls since then, but nothing serious...last girl I dated was this past summer...nothing since then...
sugarlumps Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Last girl I saw was over the summer. Last time I had sex was about 2 months ago. Not that bad, but in the past I've gone over a year without anything. Still, I'm kinda itching for something to happen sometime soon.
Mrlonelyone Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 My last relationship ended in February 2008... so three years. I was ok with it for two years after that. I had to get a restraining order against them. For the last many months I haven't been ok with it. I kind of miss the way I felt from 2008 to mid 2010. I just didn't care about any of the mess. It was so simple.
