GivenUp0083 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 You go OP! If I came across this guy I'd do the same thing. I'm enamored with how terrible people can be on dates, especially rude ones. My guess is the guy is trying some odd approach to creating jealousy with all the dates he has lined up (I'll be you he doesn't). But if you're let go and you're classy enough to pay for your own drinks, then by all means teach this guy a lesson. Maybe he just needs a little help.
Leeway Harris Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I'll be honest....I found him VERY attractive (through his pics). And I know that sometimes people don't come across exactly how they are over email. I mean...over email...he seemed nice. So when he asked if I wanted to get a drink...I thought "ok well this way I can see what he is REALLY like." Makes sense. Maybe he's one of those people who feels he's so good looking that he doesn't have to have a good personality, that women will feel privileged to be around him just for his physical beauty. That's also probably how he gets so many dates, the women are initially interested based on how attractive he is, and only later do they find out about his personality.
irc333 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I'm trying to figure out why you went out with him....scratching my head there. If you did it to get you "kicks" off of it, then you're no better than he is.
Mrlonelyone Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 By the way...NO we don't live in a small town...we live in Chicago area. And sure...maybe it says something about me that I went anyway knowing that it was going to be bad...but if I had posted a thread asking if I should go or not (since I had already committed) I probably would have gotten totally mixed reviews. As a matter of fact here in Chicago we call this the worlds largest small town. It's like everyone knows everyone. Take this situation for instance. You could know or perhaps even be an opera singer I have been trying to court. I mean how many Opera companies of note and importance are there in Chicago? Are you from Wisconsin by any chance and have you ever taken a Pole dancing class?
Author SingVoice Posted February 24, 2011 Author Posted February 24, 2011 Jeez some people are just looking for trouble on here. Like I said in my other posts...I tried to cancel on him. But he said he was sorry and that he didn't mean to be mean to me. So even though I didn't think it would go that well...I thought that I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Turns out I was wrong. So what you are saying that because I decided to go on the date when he asked me to reconsider because he thought he said had come across the wrong way...I am on the same level as him? That doesn't make much sense. Why all the reading into this? We've all had horror stories. I'm not gonna sit around and analyze all of this...I'm just chalking it up to a funny experience. That's all it was.

Haha I have never taken a pole dancing class...but have always wanted to!
Mrlonelyone Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Those two details alone might allow you to figure who I am talking about. he he he. Funny story that...I met her in a pole dancing class. Maybe I'll tell it to you someday. People have a way of...after a while.. bumping into eachother in this city.
