lovesparis Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 was having a crappy time last week and posted about it... so i decided i should also post that i am having a good day today! i have a pre-trial brief i am working on for school and i am OWNING it. i feel really good about it. i had a date this weekend. i am sleepy and feeling lethargic today, but i am not weepy about the ex today. i can't decide which is worse, being sad/depressed consistently or the "bipolar" swinging from highs to lows and back. thank you all for your support, wisdom, and guidance. i would really like to contact him and try to make it work, but LS has taught me that it's usually a terrible idea for the dumpee to make initial contact; personal experience with a past breakup taught me that feeling desperate (and having the ups and downs) like i do, and acting on that feeling, or with those feelings, will ONLY serve to push him away... because taking action while having unstable emotions will cause an erratic response. onward to bigger and better things. today: i am woman, hear me roar. he was a cowardly man who broke up w/ me via email and i need a strong man, a man who will at least own his feelings.
D78 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 ... i have a pre-trial brief i am working on for school and i am OWNING it. i feel really good about it... Are you sure you're okay? I've never heard anyone be happy about the dreaded pretrial brief ... onward to bigger and better things... I think you should print your post and look at it if you have more low days. It's very encouraging. Good luck!

Good luck! about the pre-trial brief, is it fun? well, no. but it's my first attempt at one and i feel like i'm doing quite well with it. i knew i was a strong writer going into school, i've seamlessly adapted to "legal writing" and my grades reflect that. i don't feel lost about my argument, though i feel a little slimy for manipulating facts. lol!! i think i might just take your advice on printing off my post. thank you.
