hrtbrk hotel tenant Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 okay so let me give you a background first. About 3yrs ago I met a girl in a local shoe store in the mall. She is really cute and i am attracted to her. I didnt initially ask her out just casual meet and greet...she was working i was looking to procure some items in said store. Anway...over the next yr(about 2yrs ago) I would see her periodically and we would chat she had a boyfriend at the time(i asked) and I had a girlfriend. Needless to say we lost contact I moved and she moved also(come to find out later). I havent seen her in almost 2yrs or so. Recently in the mall at same store and viola! she is there cuter than ever. I act like i didnt notice her bought some shoes(they were bangers btw lol) and we talked briefly. I asked for her number and she politely gave it to me. This is the end of the first act.... I am a novice when it comes to women,dating rules, etc. I go with how i feel. I know some of the basics but i may not adhere to all the rules(some i think are mind games but....). I did text her later that evening ummm kinda saying to the effect that it was nice to see her may be fate. I know i know that was maybe too soon but im a sensitive emotional guy and I just wanted to say what i felt. No response....okay cool i figured the txt was lame so.....i called the next day really to see if she gave me the right #.....she picks up but she is dozing off(she tells me this) and tells me to call her later on. I wasnt feeling the vibe on the phone so i didnt call back until 5 days later. She doesnt answer the phone i leave a msg on her voicemail....no response. Though it has only been a wk since we met again and i finally got number wondering why no responses from her. I dont wanna seem like a stalker cuz im not about to sweat no chic but i am attracted to her and i do wanna get to know her.....i havent called or texted since i left the msg on the VM i figured when/if she is free she will call right???? idk maybe i scared her off with the sweet text(i thought it was sweet).....how should i proceed i need help!
daphne Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I have to second that. The fact that she told you to call her back later is a tip off. Why couldn't she bother to pick up the phone and call you back later? Next time, try not to say anything about fate or a future with a girl. A girl who likes you will think it's awesome, but be wary. You'll take away challenge for the girl who's on the fence about it, though.
