somethingsimple Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Firstly, my best friend is a female. So anyways, I met her a couple of times and found her attractive. It's not that I'm crazy about her or anything, but every time I hangout with my best friend and her friends, I just start crushing and get this urge to ask her out. Now here is the twist, I asked my friend about possibly asking her friend out, she responded negatively about it. She wasn't mad about it, but clearly expressed she wouldn't be happy about it. Also, my best friend and I have hooked up before (I know, its bad). I like to think our friendship is purely platonic, however I sometimes think she feels differently. Of course, I ignore this, unless she outright says that she has feelings (which wouldn't work out with me). I really don't care if I get rejected or not. I just need to get it out of my system. I know if I do ask her out, and she says yes then the hooking up thing might make things complicated, but I feel like if it get to that I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I just hate, thinking about the "what-ifs" and the possibilities every time I'm hanging out with her. What would you do?
utterer of lies Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 You already know what you want and need to do. Man up and do it. Good things are often complicated, or start that way, at least.
