golfer99 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 There is this girl i used to hang out with often. She said she wanted to be friends. We pretty much quit talking for almost 2 years. Now we work on the same shift again. She has a boyfriend but isn't happy. Always seems sad and says she is happiest at work. The other day she brought her computer to my house for me to fix. She sat like right next to me so our legs were touching like the whole time. I took me like 15 minutes to fix it but she stayed like 3 hours. The next day she needed a ride home from work and told other people she couldn't ask me because she would have to lie to her boyfriend. Also almost 3 years after she turned me down she still get jealous or badmouths any girl I show an interest in, also tells me I am better off single. My question is why does she do this? She has a boyfriend she has been complaining about for a year. Obviously she isn't going anywhere, so why does she get jealous of any girl I mention or may flirt with? (ie. pointing out there flaws, calling them ugly or whatever even if they aren't) I mentioned a girl giving me her phone number and she said that was kind of skanky. It's not like she didn't have a chance. Also one day I asked a guy to scoot over so another girl could sit next to me and she told the guy no he wasn't allowed to make room for the other girl. She complains to everyone else at work about her boyfriend. She doesn't even mention her boyfriend to me. She has been with him 2 years and never said his name or anything to me. She just makes vague references like at least my dad go me something for valentines day. I was just like oh yeah. There was a gap between her last boyfriend and this one where she started calling me then just disappeared for 4 months after she started dating him. She contacted me like 4 months after to see how it was going with me cuz she hadn't heard from me in a while. I told her she hadn't heard from me because she only calls when she is alone and wants attention. I wasn't very nice about it. Even 2 years later now she is still getting jealous of any girl I show interest in. I mean we pretty much only talk at work. rarely she will text me or i'm me on facebook like once every 6 weeks or so. I mean she has a ton of guy friends there is really no reason to try to keep me around

She seems to be into you so maybe she's waiting for you to ask her out?
