the_analyser Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Hello friends, I'm a 24 year old guy. I've never had a girlfriend. I've never had a "close female friend". In all, I've had very little interaction with women in a pure social context. I need a girlfriend, or a friend-with-benefits because I have a desperate urge to feel the satisfaction that someone I find attractive likes me for who I am and derives pleasure in having sex with me. A hooker would not solve my problem. Technically I'm not a virgin, but in practice I feel like I still am. Everyday I keep getting hornier, and it has come to the point that it is affecting my normal life. This has taken a big toll on my self-esteem. Every time I see a decent looking girl in a public place or at school, I fantasize about her being the one. I know I have the wrong perspective of women, and some of you might say that I need professional help. But the only solution is to meet a girl, whom both her and I would find pleasure in having sex with each other. I'm not looking for perfect 10s but she should be someone I find attractive at first sight. In the looks department, I'm not gifted. I'm 5'5, skinny, with big nose and I must wear frame glasses. I have thought about this radical idea. Approach a girl at a public place, such as the grocery store, and use a line similar to this: "Excuse me, I'm [my name]. You're gorgeous. Can I get your name and phone number?" And go from there.. I realize I might get a lot of negative responses, but I'm thinking like a telemarketing salesman: You care about the few that buy, and forget about the bunch that hang up on you. Since every person ( and every girl) is a little different, isn't there a chance that one will agree to exchange numbers? Regardless, what is the worst that can happen? Can I get in trouble for "harassment"? Any ideas would help me. I know this is long but the sooner I solve this issue that is bothering me for years (and almost a decade), the sooner I will find relief.
Cee Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 If you have the guts to ask a woman out in a grocery store, why not join meetup groups and dating sites and approach women who are more likely to be single and looking?
