wheream_i Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 How many relationships here have ended because one person wanted to get married and the other didn't? I'd like to hear stories from both males and females. Thank you.

xpaperxcutx Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 It means both parties didn't vocalize their expectations clearly and when feelings developed from being together for too long, both get hurt in the end. I've seen alot of threads on here where the female complains about being in an dead-end relationship and giving their SOs years of their lives only to have to break up because one wants a piece of paper and the other doesn't. I've also seen and am aware of men who are forced to propose against their own wishes. My advice- if a guy doesn't propose of his own accord, or propose bcause of his own will, he personally doesn't think the girl he's with is the one. There is common sense in knowing how a guy feels about you- they either do something or they don't.
