Renard99 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Hello I was wondering if I could get people's advice on how to handle the next 9 days. Basically, she dumped me because she has the whole Grass Is Greener thing going on. The whole story can be found here: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t263651/ Anyway, I don't know what to do between now and the time she moves out in 9 days time. I would like her back but have also prepared to move at the same time. I fully intend to go NC once she has moved out but for now, for the sake of keeping the peace, do I play along with her 'friends' approach to me and then suddenly go NC after she's gone. Or, do I just play it miserable now, which is how I feel, and not talk to her, ignore her and go LC before escalating it to NC in 9 days time. I see the 'pros' of the first option being that, first, the atmosphere in the house isn't bad whilst we still have to live together. Second is that with me being 'me' all the way until the end and then just disappearing might make her realise what she's lost out on. The 'con' is that she could become comfortable with me being in the friend zone and then keep me there in her mind, even if I go NC. The 'pro' of the second option is that I get to act how I really feel. She can then take what she wants from me not talking to her and just going about my daily business in the house like she wasn't there. It would also make me feel better to know that she can see me angry about the whole thing. However, the 'con' as I see it is that with me being blunt and cold towards her may push her away, make her glad that she's soon to leave and remove whatever slight chance there may be of reconciliation. I hope that makes sense, that just rambled out of my head! What are people's thoughts. Thanks in advance
