What should you do if you are not ready when she asks you to be the boyfriend? Simple. You ask her to give you 2 weeks to think about it. 2 weeks passes & she asks you again & you are still not sure then let her go. Simple. Don't drag it out past 2 weeks. If you are not sure after 2 weeks then you never will be. Tell her that upon further thought you are not interested in being her boyfriend.

And whats with the always so exact timelines? You act like thats to be all and end all and if you don't follow them things will fail... Honestly nobody goes by your silly timelines and for the most part things work out just fine.

The sentence in bold sure does sound like someone else on here who thinks that they are very knowledgeable about women when in reality they are 18 and have never had a GF. The majority of women don't initiate things or put in effort, thats not very controversial, thats just the way it is, in all animal species it's the man who chases. Ok, women don't hate sex. I see that now. But still usually it's men who complain about lack of sex not women, usually it's men who initiate(more like beg) for sex than women. So atleast I'm getting my views from somewere. His views are just plain ridicilous and has no basis of reality what so ever.

You might want to explain her your reasons why you do not want it to make sure that she gets it right. She is not going to force you to be her BF if you make your point clear.
