The guy I'm seeing totally and completely makes me laugh. He's rude and crass at times, and I think he could rub some people the wrong way, but to me, he's hilarious. I think sense of humor goes right along with intelligence level too. He's super intelligent. Super successful. Super responsible. And Super funny.

Today, he said something so simple to me, but it has had such a profound affect on how I'm viewing this budding relationship.......

He said, "You make me laugh". Twice. I'm swooning. The fact that I AM making this On-top-of-his-game man laugh makes me VERY happy.

The last couple of relationships, I've felt that the guys just didn't get my sense of humor......so, I never really let it out.

This has definitely been a breakthrough for me. This guy is NOT my physical type. He's my height (5'10"). Very slender, as he plays soccer twice a week. He shaves his head bald, and is light complected.

But we make each other laugh.......I wonder, how important is a similar sense of humor to a successful, happy relationship???

Of utmost importance to me. Being able to 'get' a person's sense of humor, especially if it's the more unusual sort, is a good indication that you're on similar mental wavelengths and have 'kindred spirits', to me. ;)
