I'll start out with saying that I'm a bit tired of it in a "good way" thankfully, me and the SO are still going strong, though it's been 4 days since we really had time to chat as she's been a busy bee the weekend, but at least we've planned on keeping tomorrow (Valentines) off for each other! However, to explain my reason for coming here moreover, is that right now my current situation feels very "plain" to call it that. Right now my days usually consist of Work, work and a bit more work, then a couple of classes a week to catch up on a couple of subjects, and this will last until June, when I will be off to see her for 9 months, and I can't wait.

The reason however, for things being "plain" is more so my own previous choices I suppose, how I don't allow myself to go out drinking in the weekends especially, as alcohol is bad for you ( :p ) and last summer I decided to become a health 'freak' working out as much as 5 times a week and being as generally healthy as I can, finally managed to lay off the nicotine with that as well! So really took a new route with that.

So it feels like I'll work, come home, but then what? The reason being that I am SOMEWHAT ( :D ) of a clingy person and I can't go a day without missing talking to her, doing what I can to also meet her ends with when we're able to communicate. Me being in Europe and she on the east coast of the states can also make the hours of when we're able to talk a bit odd for me, but it's not that bad.

I realized now as well that this post ended up being somewhat messy and there was hardly a red line to follow through it. Quite a few minor things on my mind I suppose. All in all, I guess I need some ideas with things to do to kinda get my mind off her (in a good way, of sorts  ) else I'll just keep thinking of when I'll see her again, and I figured this might be a good place to start for ideas at least! :)

Also, what are you folks doing for Valentines? Personally, she did tell me that she didn't really want me to do anything, at least as far as we're able to with the distance, but I did at least order a flower delivery at her door and such with a custom card from me. So I'm looking forward to seeing her face when she receives it!

you should have some past time to distract yourself. work & studies are not enough distraction hehe...they can cause you a lot of stress. why don't you hang out with friends or get a new hobby? though i always think too about my fiance recently, i have a lot of distractions to keep me busy. i play games, watch some series, blogging and trying out lomography haha. it's helpful too cuz we have something to talk about everytime he asks me what i did during the week.

I can definitely sympathize...my SO and I sometimes must go days without talking on the phone and only a few emails back and forth a day due to our schedules and kids. It can be very difficult, especially during the long evenings. With the short, cold winter days I can't do what I normally enjoy outside - going for walks or working in the yard. I do have other ways to pass the time indoors and exercising is one of them so good for you!

I would kill to be able to spend 9 months with my girl - congratulations!! You have a lot to which you can look forward.

There's endless amounts of things to do that will support the healthier lifestyle you've adopted. Sounds like work and school keep you rather busy, though!

How about reading a book, spending time with friends/family, trying out some new recipes, or trying a new hobby? Since you like exercising, alot of gyms offer unique programs to supplement your daily routine like rock climbing, etc.

My SO and I are celebrating a belated V-day together when I'm there next week. I'm still waiting on a delivery from him too.

Hope you and yours are enjoying a great night together!
