Hi,

I have been going on dates with a girl for a month or so. We usually go out once or twice a week. Over the past week I let know her know how much I like her and that I want to be her guy. She was very receptive to this and feels the same way.

My question is though, we live probably a good 25-30 minute drive apart, she lives at home with her parents, I have my own place. She also cant drive. This leaves only a few nights a week we can arrange something. I guess what I am asking is can something greater develop basically seeing eachother once or twice a week? We do communicate everyday, ive just never been good at this relationhsip stuff and dont want to set myself up to fail. We also havent become that physical yet so her staying over on a Friday or something isnt in the books yet. I just see lots of people saying they see their partner almost everyday and that kind of freaks me out with how little we usually see eachother.

Thanks for any help.

I don't think you need to see each other constantly to keep a connection or even to take it to the next level. From the way you describe it, it sounds like everything is going smoothly; i.e. don't over think it. Is there public transit she can take to see you? Otherwise seeing her 2 or 3 nights a week + phone time is probably sufficient to develop a relationship. As for physical stuff... ease into it.

Relax :D
