guitar23 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Been dating this girl for a couple of months now, things have been great between us. She's been going through a bit of a rough time with some career issues this week and I have been there to listen and support her. I even stayed up way later than I should have several nights talking to her on the phone because I knew she was upset. Long story short, she's been very out of character this weekend and not "ignoring" me but she might as well be. I took her slow text responses as a sign to back off and leave her alone. My question is, if she wants to be left alone, why doesn't she just say so? I'm trying to be understanding and give her space bc I know its a tough time for her, and obviously she knows I'm there for her if she wants to talk about it. That said, is it too much to ask for her just to sent a little text or a quick call to let me know she doesn't feel like talking instead of giving me the cold shoulder when I've done nothing wrong? Thanks for reading...Just needed to vent somewhere!

No sense in giving her your time and energy for crumbs you know? That's not fair. For you to stay up and listen to her bs problems and what not, then for you to be there for her still and she's just blowing you off? Let her sort her **** out on her own, and make her earn your company. Stop being there for her so much, as it seems she's just taking you for granted.
