If you tell you dont have a GF, they assume you're gay?

I"m 31 and yesterday my coworker said.. you gonna take your GF out on valentines? and i said "i don't have a GF".. Then he saw me with this weird look like "he's probably gay"

 

OR "yup i knew it, he doesn't even have friends. but i won't ask cause it's obvious. so how can i expect him to even have a GF" which is true by the way, i dont even have friends.

perhaps he was just wondering if you were taking the GF out for valentine's day, and was genuinely surprised that you aren't dating anyone?

That's your perception. You don't know what he's thinking. You just think that's what he's thinking.

 

You should have said "I don't have a GF, if you know any single women, let me know."

This actually happens to me quite often. During my 6 years in college, Ive only been out with 3 women for dates.

 

I was asked out by gay men by more then triple that.
