tiger20 Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Would you ask for a 2nd date if a woman farted on the 1st date?
lenny Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 I asked my bf this question. His answer was an automatic "No! ... Not if it smelt like what you did yesterday." Gotta love boston baked beans
LittleTiger Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Would you ask for a 2nd date if a woman farted on the 1st date? :lmao: Heard it all now. Would you bother asking a woman for a 2nd date if you farted on the 1st one?

Mrlonelyone Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Depends on what it smelt like. Ladies you may joke about this....but when I was in college I noticed that my male friends who had no sisters felt this was a deal breaker. They had never been with a woman who broke wind, and the first time their GF did in their presence they were surprised that women even did that.

I'm sorry, but if a guy doesn't realise that women fart then he has no business getting into a relationship with one. I hate to think what 'surprises' he'll be confronted with later on when reality kicks in. I suppose they would also be surprised to hear that sometimes we even get constipated, have diarrhea and 'throw up' when we're sick?! If either a man or a woman farts constantly on a date without apologising THAT's a dealbreaker. One accidental slip, followed by a shocked face, an embarrassed giggle and an apology, should be an icebreaker, NOT a dealbreaker!
Pyro Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 this thread. Years ago I went on this date and at the end of the night drunk out of her mind she let one out. That was the last date, but not because of that but because I was already turned off by her self-defeating attitude.
Anxiety Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 I would laugh my ass off, and then try to one up her.
whichwayisup Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Would you ask for a 2nd date if a woman farted on the 1st date? Yes. Though I wouldn't sit her around an open fire!
daphne Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 :lmao: Heard it all now. Would you bother asking a woman for a 2nd date if you farted on the 1st one? :lmao: That made me cry
daphne Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Yes. Though I wouldn't sit her around an open fire! LOL. Better yet. Make sure your date isn't indoors.

How loud was it and how long were you holding it in?
Disillusioned Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Would you ask for a 2nd date if a woman farted on the 1st date? HELL EFFING YES!!!!! If she belched loudly enough at the table to boot, I'd ask her out for a 3rd date!!! I've had enough of uptight women who treat every get-together like a fussy formal tea party. Nothing says "I think you're pretty cool" than acting like a couple of carefree slobs together. However, barfing on the table or taking a dump on the floor is definitely out.
Rxwoman Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 That's funny. I guess it depends. Was it an accidental fart? Or did she just let one rip, and then giggle. Was she really, REALLY drunk? Personally I would be offended if a man purposely farted..atleast on the FIRST date. So, I guess it depends. Were you offended, or just surprised? Why would it be a deal breaker? If she had been a man would you have been offended? If you are really into her otherwise, let it go.
Duckduckgoose Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 I asked my bf this question. His answer was an automatic "No! ... Not if it smelt like what you did yesterday." Gotta love boston baked beans I lol'd. Women fart. She should try not to let nasty ones rip on the first date though. Of course she could have IBS or something which explains it. Who knows?
Art_Critic Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Of course I would ask her out for a second date ( well.. back when I was in my dating days anyhow ) It would only bother me if I was going down on her at the time and she didn't apologize ..hahaha
oaks Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Would you ask for a 2nd date if a woman farted on the 1st date? Did you say sorry?
Eddie Edirol Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 HELL EFFING YES!!!!! If she belched loudly enough at the table to boot, I'd ask her out for a 3rd date!!! . Women who know how to belch well is a good deal with me, because it usually turns into a competition, which is fun. Im still iffy on the fart thing, I guess its not a dealbreaker with me.
Art_Critic Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 In my single days, I once dated a girl that held the bragging rights of being able to burp the alphabet... She burped them in the car on like the 2nd or 3rd date.. we dated for about 6 months
mag6 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Totally depends on how it went down. If it was an accident (sometimes I burp when I'm nervous) and she said excuse me I honestly don't see any issue. Someone who takes offense enough to NOT want to ever see them again has some issues or is simply looking for an excuse for an out. If she leaned over, let one rip and then carried on as normal yeah, that's not the classiest of moves. I might let're pass then.
Duckduckgoose Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 http://www.gas-x.com/ If nerves make you fart ^^^^^^
