Some of my dearest friends are men. Some of them are even straight. One in particular was, in fact "in love" with me for years, but nothing ever happened on that front. He is married with kids, I've been married and divorced, and we are STILL dear good friends. Our friendship has spanned decades by now.

My boyfriend does not have a problem with my friendships with men, thank God. I think it is because he is secure and self confident, and also because he knows me and does not suspect me of having underhanded motives.

To each his / her own, as usual, but I would NEVER limit the people who are close to me in this life because of their gender, or because of what some other (insecure, I would suspect) people would think about that.

Just for the record, I never screwed, administered BJ's, or did any other sexual activities with my guy friends. Sorry, Alexlakeman. Everybody does not live in the same sleazy world, evidently.

I notice that the girls that I like as friends or possibly beyond have lots of guy friends who always want to hang out with them?

Whats up with that? Are they girlfriend/marriage material? Are they just party girls? 1 or two is fine with me But many different dudes posting on their wall all the time on Facebook?

Again a woman's prospective is advised:)

Women with a lot of male friends are big red flags. Usually they are attention whores. The male "friends" are orbiters looking for sex under the pretense of friendship. The woman gladly accepts their undying attention and is always at the ready with a LJBF (let's just be friends) should he overstep his wussified boundary. She'll accept gifts, free beers, and all the flattery in the world as long as she's not expected to reciprocate romantically. Not that there's anything to reciprocate - these orbiter guys wouldn't know how to seduce a prostitute, and I reiterate, their friendship is under a false pretense. At the end of the day, she'll drop them like a bad habit to sleep with an alpha.

But go ahead, take a woman's perspective - see where that gets you.
