xpaperxcutx Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Obviously I did not get out of a relationship but I am annoyed the guy I was seeing decided to completely go poof! There's still a small inkling of hope left in me thinking he'll contact me but as Friday approaches, and the weekend comes to a head, I realized I'm pining for a guy who doesn't give a rats' ass about me. Now I'm finding myself soliciting attention of men whom I don't particularly find attractive or charming but I'm doing it for the hell of it because I'm bored and I need plans for Friday night. I just want to get over this already.
welikeincrowds Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I'm feeling a, b, c, but I shouldn't be feeling this way because of x, y, z. Noooo. You feel what you feel bro, it's okay! Don't discredit what you're feeling or why. What matters anyway is how you act on those feelings.
TerminalMan Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 PaperCut, I feel for you. Being in limbo, through no fault of your own, just plain sucks. Assuming he is not deathly sick or otherwise physically incapable of taking 30 seconds (out of 86,400 in a day) to contact you, something is up. Cowardly poofers... they are the worst. They seem to know that you like them more than they like you, and they fade/hide just often enough to keep you anxious and interested. Or worse, they silently drop you from their life, with no explanation. At worst, you are Plan B (or C or D...) to them. At best, they have serious communication or commitment problems. Either way, they don't respect you or your time. The following post might interest you... it concerns communication issues: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/showthread.php?t=264576
Jazzari Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 So now the guys you date will be complaining of the girl who "didn't give a rat's ass" about them. Way to spread the wealth. I wonder if the guy you were seeing dated you for the same reason?

But I will feel like I am in limbo if I don't just put myself out there and forget this guy.
Nexus One Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 You have a gaping hole in your chest and you're inclined to fill it with whatever will roughly fit in there.

Better this than to admit that I find myself starting to like this guy and telling him I like him previously, only to end up here ( Oops! I guess I just did). But he'll never know.
SmileFace Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Don't you have a girlfriend? I am just asking ... I don't know if I am confusing you for someone else.
Roadlesstaken Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 You have a gaping hole in your chest and you're inclined to fill it with whatever will roughly fit in there. Been there, done that. It did help me in a way get over ex husband, but it also gave me more issues. Have you ever heard the saying that the best way to get over someone is to get with someone else?
Nexus One Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 (edited) Here's a digital bear hug for you xpaperxcutx: http://i.imgur.com/O2fmq.jpg However I would not advocate hugging an actual polar bear, with them being carnivores and predators and all. Edited February 12, 2011 by Nexus One

Awwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is really cute! Don't you have a girlfriend? I am just asking ... I don't know if I am confusing you for someone else. I do have a girlfriend but I'm not seeing her this week. Did I ever mention the relationship that I have with her is emotional as well as physical? But I also crave the sexual intimacy of a man. It's really hard to be bi sometimes, you can't live one way without the other. Been there, done that. It did help me in a way get over ex husband, but it also gave me more issues. Have you ever heard the saying that the best way to get over someone is to get with someone else? Yes, and that is what I'm going for. I find it easier to take my mind off a guy when I become infatuated with another.
