Do I have a chance of getting my ex GF back or have I become her GF?

I recently reconnected with an ex girlfriend. We talk for hours and I realized how much I missed her sense of humor. We laugh non stop and have a lot of fun just talking. We talk and message regularly and I like having someone around who often wishes me good day or good night.

We had a friendly dinner and things went really well. Recently she started reminiscing the past and keeps mentioning how my parents were nice to her. She remembers specific things my mom and dad told her that I had completely forgotten about.

Are these signs that I may have a second shot or do you think I've become her new girlfriend?

I guess the reason of your previous breakup is a factor in that equation.

if the ex is quoting your parents maybe she was in for the long haul. ie great BF, great inlaws (potentially). so if htey have said or done something, ie too much pressure then it could have made he relationship go south.

My advice: given your both talking so well ask her straight out. she'll appreciate your honesty and good relationships are founded onthat and trust. majke sure you listen and not hear what you want. men invariably do. good luck, sounds promising

Thanks. It was all positive stuff, nothing pushy. My mom said she was beautiful and my dad was just very nice to her.

It seems like we've gotten close very quickly again although the physical part is still amiss.

Things went way too fast. We were very young and said I love you on our third date! :lmao:

food for thought, sometimes you just know, and even then it wont always be perfect. I married at 21yrs old in 1996. still going strong and i knew the moment we kissed at a party in 1992. so i stuck at it and we are happy, but there are a lot more bumps than anyone can prepare you for, so go for it if you believe it to be the right one. My wife loves my persistance (we broke up 8 times), but have stayed married 15yrs, 4 kids. good luck:love::laugh:
