gabrielmel94 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 At what age does singing girls songs on a musical instrument not work anymore for them to be interested. Will girls always be into a romantic instrumentalists?
Shocking Pink Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I think that depends a lot on how good he is

Will girls always be into a romantic instrumentalists? A guy strumming a guitar is alway sexy (assuming he is any good) no matter what age.
Highness Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Every girl is different. Personally, I think guys who play instruments or sing are gay. I would choke on my own vomit if some guy tried to sing to me. (In fact, one did almost get out the ol' guitar - he got the boot quick smart!)

So every male musician is gay? So you'd say Elton John is gay? George Michael is gay? Ricky Martin is gay? Oh wait...
tigressA Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I love it. I had a FWB who's rather talented, musically--played multiple instruments, sang, edited/produced. He turned me onto some of his favorite bands. He'd get out his guitar a lot, and we'd sing songs together.
elaina Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I think that depends a lot on how good he is Lol yep! Also, what kind of songs/music she likes too Another thing is at first, it's a little uncomfortable, but once ya'll get to know each other, then it's very romantic. I love serenadas! It's so much fun especially if the girl is inside and upstairs and the guy (and his friends) serenade her at her window! This happened to me when I was young by my then boyfriend (now exhusband) and yeah I fell head over heels (he is a pro on the guitar - any kind: bass, electric, acoustic), but I had already known him for awhile before he did that. I don't think it would ever get old!
sally4sara Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 How well it works depends on many things. Does the lady in question like to be put on the spot by having a song sang and played only for her? I do and don't. It depends on how self absorbed the guy is about it. Does he think I'll fling off my clothes simply because he knows how to croon and strum a few cords? Is he really just playing to an audience and hopes I will be impressed by him being the center of attention? I remember a guy I had been dating who like to sing and play guitar. He came to a house warming party I and a room mate put on. We were the hosts; we had guests to cater to. He offered that a friend and he play some entertainment for the night. And they did, it was nice. They played about 8 songs for their set and people seemed to enjoy it as part of the atmosphere. He stayed over and we went to breakfast the next morning. He was acting weird. We were eating and he asked me what I'd thought of the song he wrote me. I did not notice. It wasn't as if he'd been strumming away crooning my name or anything that might have clued me in that one of the songs was for me. I felt awful really, but I had no clue what had been going on in the middle of getting people drinks and making rounds. But he'd expected me to realize it immediately, be swept away, and focus intently on him in the middle of everything else. All in all, a very awkward situation I could have done without.
