Now it was an illness that kept you two apart.... What's next, you had to take a trip to the moon for 4 months?

I think after some time has passed you will have to court her back again, in a way that she cannot imagine a life without you in it. If there is still an attraction there on some level....you can build off of that...but not by playing games or trying to make her jealous on purpose because that WILL backfire (plus that's not the type of foundation you want to lay down and build off of - IE...jealousy, insecurity, mistrust, etc.).

I'm not sure how it was left between you but I would simply let her know that you care about her, that you are genuinely sorry for not putting forth more of an effort in spending time with her, and that you hope after some time has passed, you both can meet up for a bite to eat or something, no pressure. If she agrees then YOU make the arrangements, offer to pick her up, whatever it takes. I think that's a starting point. :bunny:

Thats pretty much the whole story really youll be glad to know lol. For now i plan to let time pass like you say with NC and see how things develop, if she contacts me anytime during this NC ill post it up and see wat you guys interpret it as... tho if its anything but wanting to get back together i assume its best to ignore. But yes i dont plan to play any of those negative mind games, for now she still thinks of me as someone v important to her and i see no reason to ruin that.

Yes thats wat i genuinely want to do, to finally get things started as a true couple. Id be happy to throw in all the effort in if we ever do decide to get together again for something in the near future. For now what she really wants is up to her to decide in this period of NC were having.

This is really not a problem at all. No doubt the sense of disappointment or emptiness will be there when you have to leave after been together after sometimes. If you both love each other there should be trust despite the distance. I have been through that and what the heck, with IT now even if you are at the other end of the world, chatting on line makes you both feel close. try it before you take the easy way out without giving it a try. Just remember that 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' rather than 'out of site is out of mind'. Give it a try and dont giveup

We have talked online and on phone for almost 6months before finally meeting and we loved that day we 1st met but she just couldnt handle the loss of me leaving, sadly exams and her grieving friend kept us apart for another month before she just cracked and couldnt handle not having me around anymore. Believe me i want nothing more than just try and i nvr gave up on this relationship until she said she couldnt hold on. For now im sticking to my NC, 2nd day now and been keeping myself busy as ppl hav suggested. I still think bout her from time to time but its not as much as yesterday thats for sure
