Am I being naive?

There's a guy I know through work (not in the same company). We have been working on a project together. During this time we have ended up having really long conversations that always start as work-related but end up personal.

 

He has told me how much he likes talking to me. I have had other friends (male and female) who I can talk to for a long time at a time.

 

The thing is I have never gotten this close to a man who is married. We have never talked about sex or us getting together or anything. But I feel like we are becoming intimate in another way.

 

The project is ending and he has told me to call anytime if I want to just talk. We get along really well, live close by and I don't wanna give that up but I also don't want to play with fire.

 

Is it possible his intentions are platonic?

Well let me ask you this, If you were this mans wife would this friewndship have your blessing? If you are conflicted may I suggest you contact his wife and get her feelings on your situation?
