SlawKing Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Ok so I have a question for the board. I've got a second date planned for Saturday. We're going to see a small Valentine's concert with local bands. Should be a good time. I just wanted an opinion on something. If the date is going well at the end of the night should I ask if she would like to go out for dinner and a movie on Monday, or is it too soon to make third date plans for Valentine's day?
Imajerk17 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Asking her for Valentine's Day is fine. But think of something other than dinner and a movie. Too much money and it's cliche too.
NYCGirly Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Personally I would think it's too soon especially if you've literally started dating. Then again, I think Valentine's Day is a way for flower, jewelry and candy companies to bilk people out of their money with overpriced crap. I myself have a second date with someone I just met set for this Saturday but I have no plans whatsoever of suggesting we doing something for Valentine's Day. Just think it's more of a "holiday" for actual couples.
