haha :lmao: i'm out of luck then when this boat does sink. No floatation devices for me

You've had it unless your own 2 buoys down below have got some floating power, my flotation devices are only moderate and would just about keep me up!!

I'm glad you pointed that out haha. My buoys were actually the last resort and definitely enough power to keep you afloat too ;)

Haha I was completely thinking the same thing, a lot of people probably have been reading, but hey oh well right, we're all grown here. Oh and middle by the way if you were wondering ;)

Posted

Well I am 30 now so middle suits me just fine, but we have this distance issue of approx 7100km between us!! Mind you I could do with some sun as the weather here is dull and grey, plus my floatation devices need a manual testing and obviously as my job is Buoy Assessor I'll be doing a little handling of my own. :lmao: Oh dear...

Everyone watching - I have recently split from someone and not had sex for a month, so give me some leeway!!! :p

ohhh the things people are thinking about this thread right now haha :lmao:. Well to continue on i'll be 29 in a few months. The sun is abosolutley great here at the moment and definitely a great time to be testing our floatation devices at the beach. A lot of manual labor and sweating will defintely be a workout if you're up to the challenge ;)

29 in a few months makes you young in my eyes!! I think middle aged begins around 40 and old age around 65, which is retirement in the UK.

We have hijacked this thread now!! But I was gonna win the fight anyway with that jibber about women and their periods making them less emotional!!

Anyway now I suspect you could keep up with me how about I get on the back on your bike and ride. ;)

Haha, you weren't being specific. 29nish and 30ish is middle for me ;). But hey i guess being young is a good thing. Yes we totally did hijack the OP's thread but it went from a bad thread to a better thread haha, I'm sorry OP.

Sure you can definitely get on, just make sure you hold on tight it's going to be a fast ride :D

Well I will grip hard with my thighs to keep me steady so I stay on when the ride gets fast and bumpy!! ;)

You said you'd not posted for a while? How come you're back, love trouble? :)

Posted

If it gets to fast for you just let me know and i'll take it easy and make the ride a little bit more smooth ;)

No love trouble at all, i still come back on here once in a while just to read the threads and hear the experiences people go through. I learn a lot from reading peoples perspectives and views on daily things we all go through. I was here 2 years ago when me and the ex split but that's been all put behind me.

So what about you? You mentioned you had a significant other and had a split a month ago?

No need to slow down for me, I have a high tolerance for a fast bumping ride, though of course I love the smoother bits of the journey too. :)

I was in a long distance relationship for 5 months with a guy who is the classic 'commitment phobe' but I always knew I was taking a risk with him. Though he took me on a luxury holiday for NY time, we got closer than ever and now he has ran away. The poor thing, he is missing out big time. Poor me too of course but in the long run I will be fine, I've been through so much in my life and I always rejuvenate stronger.

Before that I had a 7 year relationship with a great guy who I will always respect and a 2 year with a narcissist, who proposed to me and then threw me out his house 6 weeks later never to speak to me again pretty much. I have shared a bed with a fair few inbetween, as I have the sex drive of a man with the ability to seperate emotion from the dirty deed!!!

I've had experiences with commitment phobes myself. Dated here and there but haven't found anything serious since my last ex. But yes your ex is definitely missing out then haha. Maybe he didn't realize he had a good thing right in front of him. But oh well its their lost right. By the way how is England? I've travelled so many different places but i've never had the chance to come there. I'll have to put it on my top list on where i'll be going next

Who knows what he is thinking now, as I have cut him off and he's not been in contact with me for 12 days, where he tried to bridge some sort of friendship so I put him in his place. I apologised to him 2 days later for 'snapping' at him but nothing from either of us since. Very odd person. Mind you he is moving to the top of Scotland for a work project putting a 9 hour drive between us, so it may be best for now anyway. If it's meant to be, it will all come back together. I totally believe in pre-mapped destiny, so I am never afraid of the future, it will be as it is intended.

Right England is an amazing beautiful country. You will be blown away by the green countryside and the rural quaint villages, the historic towns and cities. Come visit me in Nottingham - I would take you to the Castle and the oldest pub in England. Likewise I have never been to the US but I am going to visit New York with my mum this year and would like to go to San Fransico, Miami and the Yellowstone National Park. This is when I get rich as a counsellor and writer of course!!

Mod you should change the title of the thread to Loveshack chat box.Otherwise u should listed some Global Rules in your forum so that other User can't post spam and u should also add some Reputation point system like other forum.Likewise u can maintain the standard of this forum.Your forum is only popular in west but not in east.still many people dont knw this forum due lack of advt and no option for mobile view.U can also make some senior poster as moderator so that they can maintain this forum in the absence of you. Also add a TRASH section sothat u can trash those post which are repost or same topic.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Well i'm glad you have a positive outlook in the future as we all should when going through a split. But I guess for some, it's not an easy task. As for the friendship thing, I never believed in that right after a break up so putting him in his place you did the right thing. Being put in second place by an ex is definitely not an option haha.

You know i've seen pictures and videos of England and it really is a lovely place. I've always been a big fan of classic movies with knights, horses, and castles and england definitely reminds me a lot about those haha. Yes i'll have to take you up on that offer when I get the chance to go. I guess you'll be my private tour guide ;)

NY, SF, yellowstone park are all gorgeous places as I have been to all of them. Being in the military has taken me all over the US and also places overseas that I thought I would never see. And if you're ever in FL come look me up and i'll give you a private tour of the sunshine state ;)

OP i'm sorry if your thread has been hijacked by the way :D

Which part of the military were/are you in? It always makes me smile that Americans see us Brits as galliant, full of castles etc and well it is!! But you will also be surprised by how modern it is in places, lots to do. ;) Though as I said the beauty is powerful, a lot of people that live here forget how lucky we are to have all the greenery we do.

Yeah, he wanted to keep me in the picture and basically carry on with our 'arrangement' in a non official way but I am glad I walked away now. Think I'm on the mend to be honest and sorting some dates. Are you seeing anyone right now?:bunny:

The OP's rant at the moderators was very funny. The users who act like the forum police can also do one. :p

Well I did 12 years in the army and just recently switched branches early this year to the Air force. I just needed a change of pace and something different for a while. Speaking of Britts, I met and made quite a few friends with them while deployed. It was definitely an experience haha. You know we have quite a few greenery here in FL but probably not as green as it is over there. But we definitely have a lot of oranges haha. So you mentioned you were a counselor and a writer, what writing and counseling do you major in?

I think you did the right thing by walking away. No one deserves to be a back up plan. I think you're an intelligent woman who knows what she wants, so I think you'll definitely find someone who will appreciate you and compatible to you.

As far a seeing anyone the answer is no. I've dated here and there but as far as something serious it just hasn't came my way yet. I really don't know if it would be relevant for me to ask if you're seeing anyone since I know you have recently had a split ;)

Yes the OP's post was somewhat amusing, he might be a little fired up since we hijacked his thread haha
