Sugarkane Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I'm 23 years old. I hate my job, I work in a warehouse. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I left school. I'm basically bored to death in this job. My company doesn't promote people and theres no other area I can be transfered too, as the company is small. I'm smart and I know I can do so much better. My dream wasn't to earn minimum wage in a dead end job. When I see other people my age and what they've done, I really envy them. I want to be able to leave home and lead my own life aswell. I went to a TAFE last year, to talk to a career counseller. But it didn't help at all. All she said was choose anything from our list. Thats how I ended up in a job that I hate to begin with! And in high school I also did a career test. The top answer was historian: something that I have absolutely NO INTEREST IN. Any segestions?
