I'm really buddy-buddy with Libras (I read they're the 'opposite' sign of Aries), but the sexual passion has lacked with them. I find I'm overall much more compatible with my fellow fire signs, emotionally, intellectually and particularly sexually. My longest relationship was with a Scorpio, so I could try them again too. Was your ex, the Pisces, overly-sensitive? Aries are too much for me--too aggressive but I admire their strength .

My understanding of astrology is fuzzy at best, but there are multiple kinds, some of which use the same symbols. I read somewhere that the over-hyped "changes" would affect one kind of Western astrology, but not the other? I haven't really looked into it that much, although I was annoyed by the idea that I might suddenly be identified as a Capricorn, of all things . Just looked at the chinese astrology compatibility as well and Rats and Dragons are hot! I'm not a believer in astrology but it's fun to play with and I enjoy different forms of attempted personality profiling. I'm an Aquarius and my husband is a Scorpio; according to common Western astrology that I'm familiar with, only lukewarm compatibility. In the Chinese Zodiac, I'm a Tiger and he's a Dog. According to lunar Chinese Astrology, that's one of the most compatible couples around. I guess time will tell
laRubiaBonita Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 i am a pisces and my h is a virgo. we are complete opposites on the zodiac, and most stuff you read says we are either awful together OR that we are wonderful! we are good together... but so different! i am miss whatever most of the time, i try not to ket things ruffle my feathers. my h, not so much. i am very observant and i remember things he doesn't... we just work well! and i love that we are so very different- he thinks of stuff i would never have thought of- he knows tech stuff... i learn stuff all the time!!! it's great! he does annoying things too... but the good very much out weighs the bad.

I don't want to be limited to only dating guys born in certain years. It's too limiting.

It's not just your year animal, you also have "inner" and "secret" animals based on your month, day, and exact time of birth, and then all of them are also influenced by the elements (wood, metal, etc.) AND there's some kind of level of strength of certain attributes which changes according to which general part of the year you were born in. Altogether I think it comes out to more than 9,000 combinations, making it way more complicated than standard Western astrology. Way too much stuff to fit onto a menu or a placemat. But since I don't know what all those permutations work out to for me and my husband, I just looked up the super-basic compatibility for Dog and Tiger: Chinese Zodiac for Dummies.

LTR ex is a Virgoan Tiger and fling ex is a Taurean Dragon. All I can remember of the rest is that I was with a Taurean Rabbit, a Leo Rat and another Aquarian who I think was another Dragon but can't remember. Interestingly, many of the guys who contacted me on OKC were Virgos. And during this transitional year I've made friends with people in signs that I don't normally: Capricorn, Sagittarius and Aries. It means that you should have experienced a magnetic attraction I'm not into astrology but once dated a guy who was.
