Author madjac74 Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 I checked out her version and liked it a lot too. I think Brandy actually has a deeper voice ~
folieadeux Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Yeah...I'm not much of a Brandy fan myself. This is one case where the cover trumps the original IMO.
wild_urge Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 they play this on the radio very often, i can't stop thinking of him
Author madjac74 Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Great song! Thanks I never heard that one! We both love the song "Marry me" by train and it always seems to come on right at the perfect time. Of course they play it a lot here
folieadeux Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 they play this on the radio very often, i can't stop thinking of him Never heard this before. Cute song; lovin' the breaks in between. Great song! Thanks I never heard that one! We both love the song "Marry me" by train and it always seems to come on right at the perfect time. Of course they play it a lot here LOVE this one!! I'm posting it here so everyone can get all soppy with me. Bruno Mars, yes high voice, kinda like Matt Bellamy in a full time high note. "I'l catch a granade for ya, I'll take a bullet straight through the brain for ya" I hate that song. Deerrr I'l jump in front of a train for ya" lol....How about Shut the F'ck up for ya" :lmao:
aerogurl87 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Plain White Tees. I was listening to this the other week in my car, great song about LDRs. Although I find it funny that the guy who wrote it, wrote it about some random girl he met named Delilah and not about his actual girlfriend at the time. Another great one that I mentioned on another thread is .
sally4sara Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 The Cure's "Lovesong" However far away; I will always love you..........
Author madjac74 Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 Kind of a sad one but Im heart broke so give me a break
aerogurl87 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 by Matt Nathonson Reminds me of my ex though since everytime I went to visit him it'd come on the radio for some reason.
Author madjac74 Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 Kind of a sad one but Im heart broke so give me a break "was I just your habit. cuz I know a habit is a hard thing to break" I love that line!
aerogurl87 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 by Boys Like Girls (feat. Taylor Swift) isn't exactly a song about LDRs. But it does remind me of my boyfriend and was the song that started playing on my iPod when I realised breaking up with my boyfriend was a big mistake and I wanted and needed him back in my life.
folieadeux Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Not really an LDR song either but my boyfriend and I met at their gig and will be forever linked to this band. Nothing lasts forever, except you and me.
fadingfast Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 yep..that pretty much nailed it. Thanks for the link.

Kelter82 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I prefer "Set the Fire to the Third Bar" by Snow Patrol and Martha Wainwright. Nothing like their other songs. Beautiful and very, very sad.
