It's actually my hairdresser (I dunno if that's the right word...) Anyway, she's a really cool girl, always relaxed, likes good music... I can't find the words to actually describe her personality but she's really special.

Every time I go get a haircut with her we talk about music, and that stuff. But recently (Like the last 3 times (I go once a month or so)) She started asking me about my personal life, specially if I have a girlfriend and that stuff. Also she started to tell me about her personal life and how she can't find a decent guy (She's REALLY beautiful and cool) yet she claims to be alone.

Today I went for a haircut and we started talking as usual, then she started asking about my personal life which led to her telling me a lot about her personal life, repeating a lot of times that she was alone. She told me she had some touch and go with a guy but then the guy rejected her, then an ex came back for a second chance but then he started ignoring her... Anyway, what puzzles me about this girl is. Why does she tells me all this stuff? If she wasn't TOTALLY OUT OF MY LEAGUE I'd think she's interested but she's smoking hot and really cool, on the other hand I'm really average looking, although I'm always well dressed. Also she's like 28 and I'm only 20, but I don't know... I'd really appreciate some advice!

She is hair dresser this is what they do. I can't personally say if she is interested or not , since this is very common for a hair dresser. Take my hair dresser for example, everytime I see him he tells me all his problems and how lonely he is. However, he is gay - so I am pretty sure he isn't interested in me, but like I said this what they do.

Take your chance, you never know. Good luck.

Who knows maybe she digs you maybe she doesnt... Only one way too find out...

That being said however, you must understand hairdressers arent much different than strippers or other hired guns in regards to the simple fact its their job (especially when tips are involved) to make you like them. So just take that into consideration. i would proceed with caution some girls just like to talk about personal dating stuff u know?

Oh well... I guess it is as I feared. She's kind of a band manager so she invited me to some events, I'll just go and play along, worst case scenario I'll have a good time watching some good musicians.

Am I right?

What the....? I have never heard of hairdressers getting tips. That sounds so bizarre.

I tip my barber and we sometimes use each as therapists so this is not uncommon.

I find it funny you say totally out of your league. There really is no such thing. Looks are only one part of the attraction that brings people together, in fact, when a relationship works, it's usually looks that are the least that keep people in love.

Go see these bands with her, and whilst there, comment that you both get along and casually slip in about meeting for a drink. Something along the lines of "it would be nice to chat to your face rather than your reflection" (mirror... hairdressers... get it?)

About the looks... I'm sure it's not the main ingredient for a good relationship, but I think it's one of the main things that creates interest, then you get to know that person... Maybe I'm wrong, IDK.

And yeah it's not "WITH" her that I'll go see those bands, she's the manager. But maybe I'll get a chance to see her after the show, who knows... Maybe say Hi or something, we'll see...

PS: We don't use to tip our hairdressers around here.

PS2: The reflection line is really a clever one, thanks!
