Bf isn't really the romantic or lovey dovey type and I was wondering with valentines day coming up if I should remind him about it or subtely mention it in passing. At the same time i'd rather he iinitated something on his own but I also dont want to end up disappointed. Do guys need reminding or do you think he will make an effort on his own??

I've just started seeing someone [just over a week now] and although only a short time, I am wondering if she would like to do something for Valentines Day. As you say he isn't the "lovey dovey" type, you may want to drop a little hint "What you doing on Monday?" or something like that.
