Duckduckgoose Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Whoa! Throbbing red flag there! I hope you told Mr. Possessive to back the hell off. I lol'd. And since this has to be 10 characters... I am wondering what kinds of vehicles the men will drive when I start dating again. I am hoping for a truck or SUV driver... utility kinds not luxury or overcompensating kinds...so's maybe we can throw mountain bikes and hiking or camping/SCA gear in the back and it will be all happy and good. I dunno if I would want a man with a sports car, they are flashy but not too functional in bad weathers, and they tend to obsess over them a bit. I like import cars, and have a modded one myself, but a lot of import drivers I've met are pricks If he has a POS or non-existant vehicle... yeah I'm not even gonna mess with that ****.
Author tigressA Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 I had a wonderful weekend away, and an impromptu date with YCG upon my return. My bus was laid over in his neck of the woods, so I called him. Characteristically, he headed right over. He took me out to eat and then drove me home. He lingered with me for a bit. We talked about tomorrow and I decided that I didn't want to go out. I thought it was too much hubbub over a lame holiday and that any place we would go would be packed and therefore highly unromantic. We're going to cook dinner together and watch a movie at his place. He asked me if I have plans to go anywhere the upcoming weekend, and I said no. He asked if I wanted to spend the weekend with him, and I said yes. I'm annoyed because I wasn't able to find any sort of little gift for him while I was away over the weekend. My friend and I did some shopping and I looked around quite a bit, but nothing caught my eye and made me think, "He would like this." If I had been by myself I would've put more effort in finding something, but I wasn't, so I couldn't. I sheepishly explained this to him earlier and he said, "Don't worry about it. You don't have to get me anything." I know having V-Day in is moving pretty quickly, but it feels natural. And my god, I really want him. It's been years since I've wanted someone like this. My toes curl up inside my shoes when he just takes my hand in his. My heart squeezes when I see his smile (and he smiles with me a lot ).
