lostindating Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 the other night, I met a guy who i really took a liking too. we had a lovely evening, laughed loads, went on in a group to a mates house, laughed more, He asked if he could please see me again, he seemed really keen, so took my number, put it into his phone, when he kissed me goodnight fireworks exploded! For us both, that was very clear. we struggled to prise ourselves apart lol. But, he hasn't called or text, I know he works unsocialable hours, so would be asleep in the evenings, as I am totally unused to dating, been alone for a few years, I am lost with the way men seem to behave towards women, my friend who was out with us, told me he seemed totally besotted with me, so how long should I wait for a call, before I write him off? He is in his mid 40s if that makes any difference. X
xpaperxcutx Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Give him a few days to contact you. If he works ungodly hours, chances are he won't make plans while he's working. If he doesn't call or text you in the next two days, sent him a quick hello and ask him out.

He may not want to call you during un-nice hours and may be waiting for a weekend when he knows he will have time to talk and make plans. im sorry you didnt take his number in return, i would have suggested the same about texting or calling him first. I hope everything goes well, if it was really as good as you made it sound for both of you, there is no chance he is going to just forget about you. =] good luck

Yes it was that good, for us both, you can tell by the way someone looks and touches you if they are interested. fireworks can't be faked. I have learnt that much lol. Shall attempt to stop getting insecure about this, have some faith and keep my fingers crossed. Upside of it is, I live in a village, he asked which pub I used, so he knows where to find me! lol thanks,feel better now :-) x
