worlybear Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I'm a bit embarrassed to post this but here goes.......... I have been alone for 2 years now after a long marriage. I have joined several dating clubs and gone out socially to dances. I have met a couple of nice guys and seen them again to go to the cinema/walks etc. But there's no spark. I'm glad I have friends but I wonder if I'll ever meet someone special, perhaps I'm too old? I am 52 (shock, horror!) and look younger than my age but having lurked on this site for some time, I get the feeling that single/divorced guys of my age are looking for relationships with much younger women. Am I too old? I really would like to meet someone.
Jazzari Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I agree its hard for women in their late 40's early 50s to find men their own age. They seem to want to date women who are 10-20 years younger. I get the most attention from men in their 60s or really young guys in their 20s. I'm not interested in either age group. Stick with it - I finally found someone who is only a year older than I am. Hopefully it will work out! Best of luck.
