AlexiHC Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 So I met this girl on new years, she found me in facebook via mutual friend, we talked on FB for a bit then exchanged numbers, we started texting a lot. Took her out for drinks and pool, that went well kissed her goodnight. It's now been 3 weeks since I've seen her, she is chronically busy. We were supposed to hang out last night but she had to cancel and apologized, she text me again today to say sorry and all I said was no worries. I feel like she is unavailable or isn't that interested yet if I don't text her, she will text me after like 2 days to see how things are going, am I wasting my time? Advice?
lexaton Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Honestly, she isn't that interested yet. Don't through in the towel yet. I say give it 2 more times to hang out with her. If she can't or flakes out anymore then that then I would move on.
Lilmisus Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 If she has canceled on you multiple times now, then I say wait for her to text or call you asking you out, or (preferably) just move on. If this is the first time that this has happened, and her reason was legit for canceling, then I say call her (don't text) tomorrow when you know she's not busy, and ask when she's free again, or ask if she's free a certain day. If she cancels or says she's not, then there's your answer, respect it, and move on. If all you said was "no worries" to her texting you saying sorry, then you never know, she might have felt discouraged to text you again, and she may be waiting for you to contact her right now. Give it a shot.
Author AlexiHC Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 She already texted me today lol apologizing for last night, told her no worries and she asked what I did last night, told her not much. She cancelled because she said she was exhausted and just went home and crashed. I'm done putting in effort, I was short with her today I feel like I'm way more into her than she is into me.
