paiger Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Currently going through a breakup... A very tough breakup. We basically broke up because we lived on the other sides of the country, and we both reached a time in our lives where we couldn't put all our effort and focus into this relationship (mind you, we're both only in our early 20's). We were in the same city once, we didn't meet online or anything. We broke up because we both realized that we had to focus on our lives more. His career, my school...Long distance honestly just got so damn hard after a while. We would visit all the time but things get costly, things get more serious, you end up wanting so much more but you can't, jealousy just gets heightened, which leads to unnecessary fighting, just too many problems. So we decided to let it go. So basically my question is.... how do you get through a break up and over somebody when really.... there was nothing wrong with you two together? The distance was just ripping you two apart? I personally feel like I won't fully get over him. But that i'll find ways to distract or turn down the heat on my love for him......but never truly moving on. I'm so confused.
