tiger20 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 From everything I've read & stuff the majority of women want to get married even if they initially verbally agree with a guy's arrangement of just seeing her twice a week for the rest of their lives. It's like God wired women to be wives & mothers & a woman who does not get married is fighting against her own nature & will not be happy in any relationship unless she's married. Therefore I can be honest & upfront & let a woman know 15-20 minutes into the first date that I have no goals of getting married in my future but that I would like to date a woman exclusively by seeing her twice a week for the rest of my life. Even if a woman continued to date me after that & verbally agreed with this arrangement it wouldn't last a lifetime for sure. Either she's fighting her own nature & she will eventually change her mind & get rid of me because she wants marriage or she has low interest level in me & therefore doesn't mind the fact that I don't want to get married because her secret agenda is to pass the time with me anyway until she finds a guy she likes enough to marry. So either way I get dumped eventually. If she has high interest level in me then she's going to want to marry me at some point. If she has low interest level she may not care that we've been dating for 10 years because she doesn't want to marry me anyway. She still wants marriage in this scenario but just not to me. She's just passing the time until she finds a guy she actually likes enough to get married to. In American culture the reason most people date is so they can find a marriage partner. That is the reason most women date. If you are like me & don't want to get married then you have no reason to date because most people who date are looking for marriage down the road. Of course you can still date but just don't expect it to last the rest of your life if all you want to do is see a woman twice a week until the end of time. No woman is going to be happy with that arrangement. She will grow to resent me over time because she probably convinced herself that with time I would change my mind & want to get married. But rest assured I am honest & upfront with every woman on the 1st date about not wanting to get married. I let them know this 15-20 minutes into the first date.
SmileFace Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Bored... so I might as well entertain myself, right? Why are you dating ? What exactly will someone like you get out of dating?
Jazzari Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Most women are looking for love. It sounds like you aren't willing to offer that. So yeah, you're eventually going to get dumped - assuming you even get past the first date.

So in many ways it would be a blessing in disguise not to get past the first date. No sense looking at getting past the first date as some sort of accomplishment if she's not with me for the right reasons.
Woggle Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 According to a recent survey there are women don't want marriage so find them.
Author tiger20 Posted February 6, 2011 Author Posted February 6, 2011 According to a recent survey there are women don't want marriage so find them. The only women who don't want marriage are ones who have an agenda to have an open relationship. No woman is going to want to continue to date me exclusively without marriage. For men we know that dating a woman exclusively for the rest of our lives is the best of both worlds.
Disillusioned Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Most women are looking for love. Maybe in someone else's town, but not here in L.A.! They want to have their cake and eat it too---and hit us over the head with it. According to a recent survey there are women don't want marriage so find them. Book a one-way flight to Los Angeles and look no further.
Titania22 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I have no goals of getting married in my future but that I would like to date a woman exclusively by seeing her twice a week for the rest of my life. You sound exactly like the type of guy I am looking for. And I already did the married kids things so no danger of me changing my mind. Where can I find a guy like you?

Let's meet at a coffee shop or cafe.

Author tiger20 Posted February 6, 2011 Author Posted February 6, 2011 That's too bad. Long distance relationships don't work either. No sense starting anything up unless one of us can move.
Titania22 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 That's too bad. Long distance relationships don't work either. No sense starting anything up unless one of us can move. I agree. But I guess it proves to both of us, that there are people out there who do want the same thing.
