Is this a warning to cheaters to be extra-careful on that day, or a warning to spouses to watch their loved ones especially well??

:laugh: Yes valentine's day. Ususally celbrated on the 13th or 15th by the cheating couple. So easy to catch. I don't know why the pi's phone rings so much. If your guy or girl is home late any night the week of valentines day start digging. Valentine's is the one day that the cheaters pretend to legitimise there relationship by celebrating the LURVE holiday!!

I guess Tony had better prepare for double-duty here in a few days!

This is true... my significant other went to her cousin's house to have sex with her new internet boyfriend... "because she felt obligated to and it was the next step" after a three week courtship... then came home and had sex with me.

I say screw Valentines Day...its a Hallmark "holiday" for the retailers. Do like me....Dont acknowledge it and you'll be just fine

That makes perfect since considering it is a pretty well know fact that Mistress Day is February 13th...

My God. That is enough to turn my stomach. Someone actually celebrates that kind of heartache?

Not IME - we always did VDay on VDay. Same with all the OW-MM couples I know IRL. It's easy for a WS to be cynical about VDay in their M, so that the BS has no expectations and accepts that the WS will be "working late" or whatever those who can be bothered to lie tell their BS, freeing the WS up for the night with their lover.

But yes - good time to watch the credit card statements for all those red roses, diamond rings and expensive restaurant dinners that fail to materialise for the BS on VDay...

I don't think everything is just fine. You should make some fabulous dinner reservations, surprise your wife and give your marriage one last attempt before doing something you can not take back.

She doesnt acknowledge it either.... if I were to do something like that she'd call the paramedics because she'd think her husband has finally and completely lost all of his mind

If you feel that way then it is time to have the seperation talk.

NICELY. I can't imagine thinking my husband lost his mind because he wanted to wine and dine me. It sounds over stonecold. Time to have that chat with your wife before you make things so much worse with cheating.

ditto if my husband came home or called and told me to get a sitter or he had one for the kids are we were going out or even if he just bought me a card or flowers I wouldn't think he had lost his mind. My husband works valentines day again this yr...and yes I know he is working we went out last weekend and celebrated then since this weekend my son has cub scout derby race.
