i'mfaraway Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 that I don't have a significant other after knowing that the guy I had a crush on is seeing someone. I generally don't mind that I haven't found an SO since my last LTR, believing that that means I can enjoy my good social life and surround myself with my many good friends and loved ones in the meantime before I find myself falling head over heels with someone. But for some reason, I find myself feeling self-pity for my lonesome "plight" AFTER finding that he has an SO. Is this normal? Why do I feel this way??????????????
Duckduckgoose Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Its fine. I have a kinda crush on this hot cop that lives underneath me (literally). I have seen him with a couple different chicks but mostly by himself so I dunno if he's attached. I felt really embarrassed when I saw him holding hands with one of them. Oh well, he's a player no big loss on my part.
Author i'mfaraway Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 My embarassment is actually of me being a "loser," at least right now, that I don't have an SO while the said guy has a girlfriend. Not so much of seeing the two of them together. Does anyone else feel that way? Why should how I feel about my dating status suddenly change according to the guy having a girlfriend?
