Forgive me if I sound a little silly, but per a suggestion from a friend, I discovered a great way of networking (not necessarily for dating purposes). I'm sure everyone has heard of MeepUp, it's a wonderful way to find things to do near you and meet new people! I just went to my very first MeetUp for a trivia game night last night. It was so much fun! It's ok if you meet yuppie scum or douche bags, if it's not for you then it's not for you, but you're there to DO something (play games, sports, art, etc.) which is the point of your being there. It's worth a shot for everyone. You have nothing to loose, so please keep this in mind when you're thinking of how limited you may or may not be.
