beauty1 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 hey guys i have been dating someone for about 2 months. we are not serious as I still live pretty far away. we talk almost every night of the week, we have a great time together and we see each other about every week or every other week for now. Anyway, heres my issue. We have had talks about where we stand - that its nothing serious yet. We are having fun, getting to know each other. I've met all his friends, his parents, dinners, etc. He does the majority of the pursuing and if he is intoxicated, he is spilling out I Love Yous everywhere. I had my feelings hurt this week because Wed and Thurs he contacted me and we had our usual 2-3 hour chat and he was SO amped I was coming into town on saturday. We didn't make definite plans but decided we would be hanging out one way or another. Once I got into town, he didn't answer his phone. I only called twice. Sunday, I reached him in the evening and he answered saying "you've been blowin me up alll weekend girl" and then proceeded to tell me about all his "manly guy stuff" hes been preoccupied doing. Ok... great. Then calls me later, trashed, to say hi and he loves me. I asked him to call me when he made it home but he got a little rude and said no he would prefer if I met him at home... dude are we 16 this guy is 28 and he had not called me all weekend, I wasn't going to run to his house at midnight to see him! Anyway, we haven't talked since Sunday night. We didn't fight or anything, it was just an off conversation and I was a little hurt that he didn't see me, that the boys and surfing and painting was more important. Any advice? I am over it, I am not his gf but it just bugged me. Esp because I had something planned as a surprise for yesterday to help him with a business venture he has in the works. needless to say that never happened thanks to his non-interest. Thanks!
Mrlonelyone Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Perhaps the problem is that you are already feeling GF like feelings for him...but haven't said it. Until you have that talk your just someone he's dating. Have that talk then your his GF.
